Bassins – Cessons – 77
gabion
SETP marked its commitment to the transformation of Cesson (77) in 2008 with a major project, supplying a total of 10,000 m³ of fill stone, in particular Comblanchien limestone. This colossal project involved the use of some 10,000 m³ of STONEBOX® to surround the basins of a ZAC (urban development zone). The retaining walls, up to 4 metres high, are an example of the technical mastery typical of gabion-weight retaining walls. Strategic elements are positioned behind the wall, in the thickness of the backfill, guaranteeing the wall’s stability, even if they remain invisible.
